Gebroken sta ik hier
\nAan verwaaide vloedlijn
\nHet water is vergeten
\nwant de zee was niet meer<\/p>\n
geen mens of dier
\nziet nog mijn lichtenschijn
\noude raderwerk versleten

ach mens waar is uw stem
\nde zee rolt niet meer aan het strand
\nwaar is het nieuwe Jeruzalem?
\nEr is alleen maar brandend zand.<\/p>\n

\nThe tide is low
